Regional Innovation Advisory Service (RIAS)
 
Periodically the IDC delivers Regional Innovation Advisory Service (RIAS) programs to assist innovators in parts of regional New South Wales to develop their bright ideas. The programs, themed ‘Building on Bright Ideas’ include a free information seminar and free one-on-one consultations with an Innovation Advisory Service representative and/or patent and trade mark attorney.
Programs have previously been delivered in Albury, Queanbeyan, Wollongong, Tamworth, Orange, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, Lismore and Tweed Heads. The service is an initiative of the Department of State and Regional Development – the New South Wales Government’s business development agency.
